The Sidewinder trail.

Starting at Cove wash TH sidewinder begins at the junction of  the (.8) mi Precipice trail, and Barrel Rolls trail. Precipice & sidewinder makes a five-mile out-and-back from the trailhead. Most of the trail is straight-ahead cranking on smooth narrow singletrack. Sidewinder is also a good addition to the barrel roll trail. The trail has spectacular views of Ivin’s Red Mountain. And there are parts of the trail that overlook a good chunk of the Santa Clara River Preserve.
